The Department of Health is one of six departments at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. At the department, research and education are conducted within health, care, and nursing with the aim of preventing disease, extending life, and promoting health from the perspective of citizens, patients, and healthcare professionals. In our activities, research and clinical work are integrated with technical expertise to promote a good life. Job Description
The Department of Health offers education at undergraduate and specialist nurse level, doctoral level, and commissioned training within medicine and nursing, primarily directed toward the Swedish Armed Forces. TIHA's research subject Applied Health Technology is highlighted in all programs. We are now seeking university lecturers. The position includes theoretical and practical teaching in nursing and medical science. Work tasks include assessments in workplace-based education (VFU) and clinical skills training at the department's clinical training center (KTC) as well as lectures, examinations, seminars, and workshops. Teaching takes place on campus, in clinical practice, and online, primarily in Swedish, but teaching in English may occur.
Qualification Requirements
To be eligible for employment as a university lecturer, you must have:
completed a higher education degree of at least 180 credit points or have equivalent competence, or have some other skill that is relevant given the subject content of the position and the work tasks to be included in the employment.

Specific Requirements for This Position
Swedish nursing license.
Master's degree in nursing/nursing science or equivalent.
Specialist nurse degree with a focus on acute care, ambulance care, anesthesia care, or operating room nursing.
