About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work providing individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the activities' resources and budget.
Qualifications
You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way and enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working in healthcare and care.
Secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and health program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Meritorious if you also have:
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affective interaction.
Worked with complex support needs.
Employment Terms
Employment Type: Part-time Work Level: approximately 64% Working Hours: Monday-Friday day and evening shifts. Start Date: By agreement; we view positively if you can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
