About the Support Assistant Role
As a support assistant, you will work to provide individualized support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support service users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for service users to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction to create security and predictability in the service users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
Qualifications
You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working in health and care.
Secondary education such as a child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Driver's license category B.
Meritorious if you also have:
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affective interaction.
Worked with complex support needs.
Employment Terms
Employment form: Hourly position. Degree of service: As needed. Working hours: Day, evening, sleeping on-call, weekends. Start date: By agreement; we view it positively if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
