We are now looking for two nursing assistants who want to work with us and be part of our team at Wasagården & Solgården in the Wasagården work unit. Wasagården is a somatic residential facility with eight apartments and Solgården is a dementia care facility with eight apartments. The positions are a longer-term temporary assignment and a permanent employment. Both facilities have beautiful surroundings. You will be part of a work team with a unit manager, nursing assistants and care attendants. As a nursing assistant you will report directly to the unit manager and work closely with nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. As a nursing assistant at Wasagården and Solgården you work closely with residents and provide person-centered care based on each individual's needs, wishes and care plan. You assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meals and social interaction. The role includes following medical orders, for example medication management and simpler health and medical care tasks following delegation. You observe, document and report changes in health status according to current procedures and legislation. Together with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers and family members, you create a safe and meaningful environment, plan and participate in activities that promote community and actively contribute to quality and improvement work in the operation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and preferably has experience with similar tasks. You have the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to each individual's unique needs and circumstances. For us it is important that you thrive in an operation with a high pace where job satisfaction and commitment are central. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner and have good problem-solving skills. We appreciate that you are stress-resilient, attentive and confident in yourself with a professional demeanor. Collaboration is obvious to you and you easily adapt to different situations and changes. Since documentation is a natural part of the work, you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and feel comfortable working in our digital systems.
