Here's what we offer you! We're seeking six nursing assistants for evening shift temporary positions in home care Väster at 75-100%, starting as soon as possible or by agreement until 270831. Working as a nursing assistant in home care means you meet our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes physically demanding. You move between care recipients, often by bicycle or car, and help with both care and services in the home. The work requires you to be able to climb stairs, bend down, lift, and sometimes work in tight spaces. There can also be heavier tasks, such as cleaning, carrying groceries from shopping, or assisting care recipients with transfers between bed and wheelchair. You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor toward care recipients, colleagues, family members, and other people we meet in our work. Here's what you'll be working with: Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits Preparing or warming simple meals and serving food In this role you will administer medications, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel Helping with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and waste sorting Doing shopping and running errands Providing social support, conversation, and walks Documenting in digital systems and reporting according to SBAR to ensure good quality and safe care Collaborating with colleagues, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists as needed Being a contact person or primary care contact and planning with the individual how services should be delivered Hässleholms kommun wants to create the best conditions for a sustainable working life so you can thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. You are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, in reading, speaking, and writing. To get around the area, you need to be able to cycle and have a class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles. We'd like you to have experience from care work, but it's not required. We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, flexible, and takes responsibility for your own tasks. You have a good ability to build relationships with a respectful and helpful approach, and you understand other people's needs and feelings.
