About the Job As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in creating security, participation, and meaningful daily life for people who need support and care. We are looking for committed nursing assistants who want to contribute their skills in an organization where the individual's needs, wishes, and resources are at the center. You work person-centered and based on the individual's own conditions and resources. You support and motivate the person to be as involved and independent as possible in their daily life. The work is characterized by respect for the individual and a rehabilitative approach, with focus on the individual's own abilities. Your duties include personal care, support with meals and daily activities, as well as social and motivating support. You have close contact with people who live or stay in the facility and cooperate with family members and other professionals. The work may also include documentation and tasks on behalf of licensed personnel. As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team and contribute to safe and quality care. The work is scheduled for day and evening shifts. A care and housing facility is a residence for those who need service and care around the clock. Here, care recipients receive all the support they need in their daily life while living in their own apartment. A short-term unit offers short-term guests care and support for a limited period. The work is based on government decisions with clear goals based on the short-term guest's unique needs. The goal is to return to as independent and self-reliant a life as possible after the stay. About You In your role, you meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always keep the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different from planned since you work with people, so you remain calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your tasks. Qualifications Trained nursing assistant; able to provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or able to show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were implemented. Computer skills for documentation and incident handling in various IT systems. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Good communication skills. Meritorious Previous experience in care and support work. Previous experience working with people with dementia. Previous experience in short-term care operations. We warmly welcome your application!
