About the job As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in creating security, participation, and a meaningful daily life for people who need support and care. We are looking for engaged nursing assistants who want to contribute their skills in an operation where the individual's needs, wishes, and resources are at the center. You work person-centered and based on the individual's own conditions and resources. You support and motivate the person to be as involved and independent as possible in their daily life. The work is characterized by respect for the individual and a rehabilitative approach, with a focus on the individual's own abilities. Work tasks include personal care, support with meals and daily activities, as well as social and motivational support. You have close contact with people who live or stay in the facility and cooperate with family members and other professionals. The work may also involve documentation and tasks on behalf of licensed personnel. As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team and contribute to safe and quality care. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role and make a difference in people's daily lives. Right now we are recruiting nursing assistants for Bagaregårdens short-term housing, Fredriksdals care and housing facility, and Åkerhus care and housing facility. Care and housing facility - A care and housing facility is a residence for those who need service and care around the clock. Here, care recipients receive all the support they need in their daily lives while living in their own apartment. Short-term housing - At short-term housing, guests receive care and services for a limited time. The work is based on government decisions with clear goals based on the short-term guest's unique needs. The goal is to return to as independent and self-sufficient a life as possible after their stay with us. The position is a permanent full-time role. Work hours are daytime and evening shifts plus every other weekend. About you In your role you meet many people, which requires you to be able to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always keep the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different from what was planned because you work with people, so you remain calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your work tasks. Qualifications Trained nursing assistant, able to show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title or able to demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious Bagaregårdens short-term housing - Education focused on mental health and/or work experience meeting people with mental health issues Fredriksdals care and housing facility - Further education in dementia care, or work experience with dementia from a dementia-certified care and housing facility Åkerhus care and housing facility - Previous work experience in care and housing services We look forward to receiving your application!
