Be part of shaping the future of home care As a nursing assistant in home care, you work closely with our clients in their homes. You provide support, care, and security based on each person's needs and contribute to making everyday life as meaningful, independent, and dignified as possible. The role includes nursing care activities, activities, documentation, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff. You play an important role in the team around the client and may serve as a dedicated care contact. Home care operates throughout Kristianstad Municipality, and work may involve both car and bicycle routes depending on where clients live. We work days, evenings, and weekends, and also have night services. We have streamlined the nursing assistant role by separating service activities from care. This way, as a nursing assistant, you can focus on what you are trained for and do best. With us, there are also good opportunities to grow in your professional role, for example as a mentor, language representative, care and welfare ambassador, or specialist nursing assistant. We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with approved grades and a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare confirming protected professional title have good computer skills and can document and communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing have a professional and warm approach toward clients, relatives, and colleagues are confident, flexible, and can plan and structure your work independently Above all, you want to contribute to home care where clients experience safety, participation, and respect. It is meritorious if you have experience working in care and welfare and have completed training certified by the care and welfare college, either at upper secondary level or as a working professional, for example mentor training or language representative training.
