The Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Sus is one of Sweden's leading actors in spinal cord injury care and rehabilitation. We have been entrusted by the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) to serve as one of four nationally highly specialized units. At Orupssjukhuset we offer highly specialized rehabilitation for people who have suffered acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, or other conditions requiring intensive and team-based rehabilitation. DUTIES We are looking for nursing assistants for our operations at Orupssjukhuset in Höör, where you will have stimulating, meaningful, and varied work! With us you work closely with many different professional categories such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, where you all focus on the patient and their needs. The team meets several times a week to discuss with the patient how the rehabilitation is progressing and review current goals. Your employment will begin with a guided introduction, on-the-job training, and education in Rehabilitation Medicine, where we also collaborate with relevant acute care within Sus and our other units in Lund. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish in both speech and writing are a requirement. It is meritorious if you have experience within rehabilitation and if you have knowledge and/or experience within acute care. As a person you are flexible, have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and have an interest in working in a pedagogical and motivating way. Furthermore, you take your own initiative and are independent while contributing to a good collaborative climate.
