About the Department
The Hematology and Nephrology Department is part of the Primary Care Area North and is one of three medical departments at Örnsköldsvik Hospital. The department specializes in treating kidney and hematology patients as well as gynecological and other medical patients. Here you work in a team with doctors, registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, social workers, and dietitians. Our workplace is characterized by high commitment, good collaboration, and a positive attitude. We offer orientation and some training when you join us, and you will gain broad knowledge in acute medical care. We hope that YOU want to become part of our team!
We are seeking 4 nursing assistants. These are permanent full-time positions. Due to retirements, start dates are as soon as possible or by agreement.
Job Duties
The position includes standard nursing care tasks for a nursing assistant, such as:
Specimen collection
Monitoring
Wound dressing changes
Patient care
Participation in patients' planned rehabilitation
Some documentation
Working hours include days, evenings, nights, and two out of five weekends.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who:
Is a trained nursing assistant
Has strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you:
Have experience in acute medical care
