This position is placed within the Care and Social Services Department, one of eight departments in Linköping Municipality. The Care and Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical services, authority functions, procurement of services, and operates care and social services in-house. Your responsibilities Are you someone passionate about making a difference? Then we're looking for you in home care in Tallboda! As a member of our team, you will be part of a dedicated work group that works to improve quality of life for our elderly in Tallboda. Here we place great emphasis on the individual's needs and work with methods such as IBIC (individual needs in focus) and a salutogenic approach. In your work, you will perform personal care, provide support in daily life, and document your interventions in our electronic health record system. You are the designated care contact for one or more of our clients. Working hours are arranged for day, evening, and every other weekend. Your workplace Tallboda Home Care is a smaller operation that covers Tallboda and surrounding areas. Staff operate from our office on Gränsliden in Tallboda and there are good bus connections from the travel center in Linköping. About you We are looking for someone with experience working in care and social services, and we consider it a merit if you have previously worked in home care. Beyond this, we think it's good if you have completed upper secondary education and we see it as a plus if you are trained as a nursing assistant. For this position, it is beneficial if you have experience documenting in electronic health record systems and if you have experience with the IBIC (individual needs in focus) approach. We also see it as positive if you have knowledge of salutogenic approach and low-arousal interaction. The work tasks involve significant client contact and documentation, which makes it important that you can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. You also need to be confident using digital tools. In order to move between different clients, it is a requirement that you can cycle and that you have a Category B driving license. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, takes responsibility, and has the ability to drive your work forward. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others and find it easy to communicate and build good relationships. You can understand others' perspectives and act with empathy for their situation.
