We in ordinary housing work to provide the people we serve with properly executed services based on their needs, delivered with respect and good treatment, thus creating security. Home Care Valla is now seeking engaged team members to join our wonderful group. We operate centrally and work in the Valhalla area but also support other units in the municipality. We now need to expand our work group with four permanent employees. Work Tasks As a team member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation and care to our service users. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening individuals' own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives our support feels secure living in their own home. Participation, development and community are key values for us, where continuous improvements provide the foundation for creating good quality. We work with welfare technology aimed at increasing security, participation and independence for our service users. Work tasks include personal care, assistance with household chores in service users' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, contact person responsibilities, and social and physical activities together with our service users. We work on a team basis, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our service users. You will currently be placed at Home Care Valla. We also collaborate with nearby areas. We offer you meaningful work where you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in palliative care, dementia, everyday rehabilitation approaches and transfer techniques. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would like to see further education in elderly care and/or dementia or training focused on psychiatry. Experience working in health and social care is an asset. It is important that you enjoy and feel comfortable working with people, and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and working methods. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with service users, carry out care documentation and obtain medication delegation.
