Nursing Assistant / Caregiver with Arabic or Persian for Home Care Services
Vesta Care is a private and selectable provider of home care services in Solna and Sundbyberg municipalities. We currently have over 65 employees and have been operating as a selectable provider in both municipalities for more than 10 years.
Our operations continue to grow and we are now seeking several dedicated and responsible nursing assistants and caregiving staff with strong skills in Arabic and/or Persian.
We serve a special customer group that has limited or no knowledge of Swedish and therefore needs support from staff who can communicate in Arabic or Persian. For us, good communication is an important part of safe, secure, and individualized care. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can meet these customers in their own language while also communicating and documenting in Swedish at work.
About the Position
The work involves providing support, assistance, and care to our customers in their own homes in Solna and Sundbyberg.
Work tasks may include:
personal care
assistance with meals
medication management following delegation
basic household tasks
social support and accompaniment
documentation and reporting
communication and collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, and when necessary, relatives
You work based on the customer's needs and care plan and contribute to creating security, continuity, and high quality care.
We Are Looking for You If
You are a trained nursing assistant or have relevant experience working in healthcare and care services. You are responsible, attentive, and have a professional and respectful demeanor.
For this position, we are specifically looking for someone who:
has strong skills in Arabic and/or Persian
has strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
can communicate safely and clearly with customers who have limited knowledge of Swedish
can document and understand work-related information in Swedish
can work independently while also collaborating well with colleagues and supervisors
has experience from home care, elderly care, or other healthcare and care services
Education as a nursing assistant is a merit, but we also welcome applicants without formal nursing assistant education who have relevant experience in healthcare and care services.
Language Skills Are an Important Part of the Position
Since the position largely serves customers who cannot communicate sufficiently in Swedish, knowledge of Arabic or Persian is an important competency for the role.
At the same time, good Swedish is required because the work involves documentation, information transfer, communication with colleagues and supervisors, as well as communication with other actors within healthcare and care services.
Employment
For trained nursing assistants, employment can be offered as a temporary position or on a probationary basis, depending on the organization's needs and your qualifications.
For caregiving staff without formal nursing assistant education but with relevant experience and competence, we offer temporary employment.
