JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant at Rosengården Short-term Facility, you will be an important part of an interdisciplinary team working to ensure that each patient receives the best possible conditions to regain or maintain their independence. Our patients stay with us for a limited period for rehabilitation, recovery, or continued care following, for example, a hospital stay.
You work based on a person-centered, rehabilitative, and salutogenic approach where the patient's own resources and goals are in focus. Together with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other colleagues, you plan and implement measures that contribute to safe care and rehabilitation.
Your work tasks include, among other things:
• provide individually adapted care based on the patient's needs, resources, and goals,
• motivate and support the patient to participate in their rehabilitation and daily activities,
• perform delegated healthcare tasks according to instructions from licensed personnel,
• observe changes in the patient's health status and report and document according to current procedures,
• collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other professionals to create cohesive care and support,
• use digital operations systems, welfare technology, and other technical aids as support in daily work,
• contribute to the operation's quality and improvement work and mentor colleagues and students as needed.
The work is varied and involves meeting patients with different care and rehabilitation needs. The role therefore requires professional conduct, good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt your approach based on the patient's changing needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Nursing Assistant
A professional certificate demonstrating completed and approved nursing assistant education.
Swedish Language
Documentation is an important part of our work, and therefore you need to have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills are a requirement since digital operations systems, technical aids, and applications are used as a natural part of daily work. You therefore need to feel comfortable using digital tools in order to perform your work tasks safely and efficiently.
Class B Driver's License
Documented Experience
It is advantageous if you have work experience in care and nursing, low-affective approach and/or clarifying pedagogy, as well as experience with documentation in the Life Care system.

Working Hours: Shift work. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the operation's schedule.
