Description We are seeking an engaged nursing assistant for our dementia unit at Rörestorpsgården! Welcome to our dementia unit, a safe and homey environment consisting of 10 apartments. Here we work to create a meaningful everyday life for our residents. You will become part of a competent and supportive team that works with a person-centered approach and places great emphasis on building good relationships with both residents and their families. At our unit, we work from an individually tailored perspective where we always put the residents' needs in focus. You will work with everything from care and daily activities to creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. We have close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure high quality care. The position involves work according to schedule day/evening and weekends. Work Tasks To provide care and service centered on the user's needs according to support decisions and implementation plans, with respect for the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination. The work tasks also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and care tasks. Qualifications Care and nursing program or other education that provides nursing assistant competence as well as good computer skills. The position requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and independence. We are looking for someone who wants to work with our dementia residents and provide them with the care they need and help them navigate everyday life. You need to be equipped with great patience and be flexible, open-minded, and warm-hearted. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Delegation of medication. Terms As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title and you must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.
