The Psychiatric Emergency Department in Sundsvall is now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to be part of creating safe and professional care for patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The Psychiatric Emergency Department meets patients in their most vulnerable situations. Here you work in a dedicated team with high expertise. The work is varied and challenging and requires professional patient interaction and good collaboration skills. We are open 24/7 with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. The position is a one-year temporary contract, full-time, with start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant you will work with: Assessment conversations and triage in consultation with colleagues. Collaboration in the multiprofessional team. Cooperation with other professionals and care partners. Telephone advice/assessment. Documentation according to current procedures. NEWS, EKG and blood sampling, assessments. Practical tasks related to care. Qualifications We are looking for you who: Are trained as a nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from Socialstyrelsen Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It is meritorious if you: Have additional language skills Have specialist training in psychiatry Have work experience in psychiatry Have experience with inpatient care/psychiatric assessments For you to succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: We would like to see that you have a genuine interest in psychiatry!
