Welcome to us Patrullen is part of the elderly care resource area, which is part of the elderly care board in the social services administration of Jönköpings kommun. The operation is divided into four areas and consists of approximately 90 employees. We are responsible for responding to all safety alarms in Jönköpings kommun, approximately 3,500 total, and conduct needs-assessment-based night visits to residents receiving home care or personal assistance. Although most of our employees work night shifts, we also provide daytime and evening services. We operate from central Jönköping with facilities at Kasernen and Gränna elderly housing. Your new job Working in Patrullen is varied, independent, and developmental, where no two shifts are alike! A large part of your work involves direct care and nursing in the resident's home, usually together with a colleague. Your work is characterized by individualized assistance in all areas needed to enable the resident to live as rich and normal a life as possible. Job duties may include: carrying out services in the resident's home, both planned and in critical situations responding to and attending safety alarms performing home care services, such as supervision, toilet visits, or transfers (night shift) carrying out shorter personal assistance services (night shift) administering medication on delegation from healthcare personnel documenting and providing ongoing reports, both in writing and verbally You work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and your unit manager. Regular contact also occurs with colleagues in the Health and Care function, other operations in social services, and external contacts such as the region. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys taking personal responsibility and who, both independently and together with colleagues, drives the work forward. You are calm, confident, and stable even in situations requiring quick decisions. You have a solution-focused approach, are flexible, and can adapt your manner of interaction based on the situation and the individual you are meeting. Working hours vary and are scheduled for daytime, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends. This position is primarily scheduled for evening/night with working hours 16-02.
