In your position as a nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on residents' wishes, in accordance with care decisions, and always with great focus on quality. You help with, for example, personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to calls, and providing social companionship. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, fully. This can range from conversations, playing games, going on outings, taking bike rides, or doing fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.
Job Description
We are now seeking a colleague on a part-time basis for a permanent position with probation at 83% employment level, starting immediately.
To be a suitable candidate for this position, you need:
A certificate from Socialstyrelsen as a nursing assistant
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
We also consider it a merit if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
To thrive in this position, you are engaged and care about your fellow humans while being good at building positive relationships and have a service-oriented approach. With us, you work both as a team and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.
Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, for example a passport or approved work permit from Migrationsverket.
