JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We now have the opportunity to strengthen our team at the short-term care unit Vitsippan with 2 positions.
The Vitsippan Short-Term Care Unit consists of 10 places for both respite care and short-term placements. As a nursing assistant at Vitsippan, you work together with colleagues on the unit and are responsible for meeting users' daily needs based on a person-centered approach.
You are expected to work according to set goals, take responsibility for different areas, follow applicable routines and guidelines, and perform digital documentation via computer or phone. The work is carried out in close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and the unit manager.
Full-time, 37 hours/week
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends
Start date by agreement.
A trial period may be applied.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have nursing assistant training or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. You contribute to giving other people meaningful lives and support them in their everyday lives. Previous experience working at a short-term care unit is a merit.
It is important to us that you have a good ability and willingness to establish good relationships, as close collaboration with family members and representatives is a large and important part of the work.
For us, it is important that you can work independently and in a group, you should be able to adapt in your work and prioritize according to current circumstances. Preparing for the arrival of a new user may mean that with short notice you need to arrange and prepare so that the reception goes well. We expect you to have the ability to understand and empathize with other people's lives and be receptive to the individual's needs.
You have very good skills in speaking and writing Swedish and you have a high reading comprehension of written texts. You should be able to actively participate in training/information at workplace meetings and be able to take in information. Furthermore, you have experience keeping journal notes and have very good computer skills. The work requires physical mobility.
