WORK TASKS
Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives? The home care team Strandviken is now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to work with care during daytime and evening hours. With us, you will have the opportunity to provide security and support to our service users in their own homes, in a committed and positive work team.
As a nursing assistant in home care, you deliver high-quality nursing care and social support to our service users. You will have varied work that largely involves helping and supporting the service user in daily life to promote functional ability.
Within home care in Hammarö municipality, we have the conditions to smoothly adjust working hours according to the service user's needs. This is much appreciated and something you will notice makes a positive difference for the service user. We like to work together and you will have close contact with your manager, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. We have administrative support in the form of a home care coordinator who assists managers and employees with staffing and scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has nursing assistant training and experience in nursing care, home care, or elderly care. You enjoy working with people and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. In your work, you use mobile phones and digital tools, which requires a certain level of digital competence.
We would like you to be responsive to others' needs, have good communication skills, and be able to make independent decisions while also being committed to collaborating with the rest of the team. As a person, you have high social competence and are flexible, service-oriented, positive, and responsible.
The position is placed in a bicycle team, which means that in your daily work you travel between service users by bicycle. It is therefore important that you feel comfortable cycling as part of your work.
