Home care has approximately 130 employees who contribute to many clients' daily lives through municipal home care services. We work to enable people to live an independent life according to their own circumstances. The assignments are characterized by providing care and services of the highest quality. Today, the service consists of three home care areas plus a night patrol. You will be part of Home Care 3, which covers the outer area towards Fogdö, Härad, etc. We are now seeking two nursing assistants for temporary positions, 85%, for the period October 26, 2026 - May 30, 2027. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS Common tasks within home care include encouraging, supporting, and motivating regarding personal hygiene, nursing care, meals, and activities. We base our work on the client's needs and wishes. The goal is to make it possible for elderly people to live in their own homes with a sense of security and quality for as long as they wish. We work according to the Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC) method. The work includes maintaining good dialogue with care recipients and their relatives, documenting according to social services guidelines via computer, and handling delegated health and medical care tasks. At our home care facility, we also maintain shared spaces, laundry facilities, and staff rooms. Your responsibilities as an employee include following both municipality-wide policy documents and unit procedures and instructions for employment and daily work. This includes, for example, following basic hygiene routines, using aids and medical technology products, and using ergonomic work methods. In regular housing, we work with a fixed care contact, which means that with a permanent employment contract, you have special responsibility for one or more clients. Within regular housing, we continuously implement new work methods and digitalization to meet society's needs. You work with a mobile phone as a work tool and document in the Treserva system. With us, you work both independently and together with your colleagues. Work hours vary and can include days, evenings, and weekends. We use both cars and bicycles as transportation, which are provided by the employer. We are also responsible for the area's alarm responses. If you work in home care, you need to be prepared for the possibility of pets in our clients' homes. The home care facility is located at Helheten on Markörvägen in Strängnäs, near the Travel Center. Work at our clients' homes is on the outskirts of Strängnäs city and in the countryside. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • a valid professional license as a nursing assistant. • experience working in care and health services. • good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. • good computer skills. • good experience with documentation. • a B-class driver's license (as you may need to drive our alarm vehicle). It is advantageous if you have experience with the Alfa planning system, Treserva, and/or digital locks. Your personal qualities are important to us!
