You will become a trusted contact for some of our elderly and have the opportunity for further education. In Krokom Municipality, there are five home care areas: Ås, Krokom, Nälden, Offerdal and Föllinge. Home care is part of the Social Services Department which consists of 600 employees where the scope of the assignment is extensive. The department is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. Here we are responsible for providing care and support, assistance and service as well as health and medical care to the municipality's residents who need it, at all stages of life. A day as a nursing assistant at home care in Ås, Krokom and Nälden You will work providing care and support to people based on their individual needs and circumstances. Our guiding principles are close, courageous, welcoming and reliable. We believe that open, respectful and active communication plays an important role in care work and is the foundation for a good work environment. Our services run day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. You work based on a schedule created by our central planning office in Krokom. Work tasks include medical care, simple meal preparation, assistance with personal hygiene and outdoor activities. A car is used on all routes during the day where needed and home care uses modern four-wheel drive vehicles that can handle any weather. Your Competence We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title and who have a heart that beats extra for people and elderly care. Driver's license category B is a requirement as the work involves traveling between different clients' homes. You are a person who meets every individual with respect and adapts your care based on unique needs takes own initiative and can make decisions in your daily work adapts to new situations finds it easy to collaborate with your colleagues, clients and their families have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish have computer skills and experience using apps at work. Experience in home care is a merit but your personal competence and willingness to learn are most important! Other Information The positions are permanent employment on a full-time basis with the possibility of part-time work. Start date by agreement.
