Gamleby Home Care Erneborg We are now recruiting a home care assistant for our home care service at Erneborg. Your Responsibilities Your tasks will include providing care, assistance and support to older adults based on their individual needs, and creating a meaningful daily life for them. We work according to a salutogenic approach, which means we recognize the strengths in each individual and what resources and conditions they have. To contribute to a more meaningful daily life and provide better quality of life, we work with Fri tid. Visits are therefore based on individual needs. Your role will be to provide older adults with the care and treatment that shows compassion, respect and makes a difference every day. This helps us add value to their daily life. Your Qualifications We want you to have a degree from a health and care program or equivalent education. It is a merit if you are trained in dementia care or have previous work experience in the field. It is also a merit if you have a B-class driver's license. What is most important to us is that you have a genuine interest in providing support and service to other people. We value that you are positive, engaged, responsible and flexible in your work approach. In your work, you will collaborate with users, their relatives, colleagues and other professionals. Therefore, you need to work well with others. We also want you to be attentive and have good communication skills. It is important that you have strong empathetic abilities and can listen to and understand the user's different needs, and that you have a desire to meet these in the best possible way. The position requires that you are responsible, take initiative and have a flexible work approach. We see that you have basic IT knowledge and can work with the systems we use for record-keeping and documentation. You must also have basic knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing.
