What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Senior Care involve?
A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person and we're looking for someone who is skilled in your profession and enjoys meeting people in different situations. Together in a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.
We're looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people where your main responsibilities are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday routine. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed with the resident in the care plan.
This includes, among other things:
Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's "Your Day" concept.
Personal care and support and utilize residents' own resources.
Work based on Norlandia's "Tasty Meal" concept so our residents enjoy the food and the meal experience adds a golden touch to everyday life.
Documentation according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and establish and follow up care plans.
Plan, offer, and carry out daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc. both individual and group activities.
Perform service tasks such as cleaning the apartment, laundry, accompanying residents, shopping, and more.
Receive and perform delegated tasks such as medication delegation.
Take responsibility in ombudsman roles.
Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work.

You need to have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
It is meriting if you have previous experience in healthcare and social services.
You need to have good knowledge of documentation.
You must have good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
We'd like you to have good computer skills/computer experience.
We want you to have good knowledge of the relevant national quality registers for the operations.
Other information
Type of employment: permanent position
Day, evening, weekends.
Extent: part-time, by agreement.
Start date: By agreement.
Trial period: we apply a 6-month trial period.
We use individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews take place on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
