Welcome to Kampementet care and residential home
We are looking for you who are trained nursing assistant with protected professional title and who through commitment and care wants to contribute to our elderly having a safe and meaningful everyday life. At Kampementet care and residential home you are an important part of the team, together with other professionals such as nurses, rehabilitation staff, group leaders, activity coordinators and managers, and you will have the opportunity to make a difference for those who need support and help.
Kampementet care and residential home is aimed at people aged 65 or older who need 24-hour care, and there are a total of 96 apartments distributed over six floors. The facility has three dementia-focused units and three somatic-focused units. The facility is located near Gärdets subway station and close to shops and green areas.

As a nursing assistant you work irregular hours, which means scheduled working hours during day, evening and weekends. Special schedules apply for night shifts.
Your role
As a nursing assistant you work based on the elderly person's individual needs, wishes and self-determination, and your work tasks include, for example:
Assist with support and help with personal care and transfers
Assist with support during meals
Assist with social community and meaningful activities and activities
Assist with support regarding service provisions
Being able to observe and report changes in the elderly person
Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals
Document according to the facility's procedures
Follow applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines and local procedures.
You are expected to be able to work on all units after introduction to the facility.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who are professional, initiative-taking and who show commitment in carrying out work tasks. For us it is also important that you have good collaboration skills towards both the elderly and relatives, as well as colleagues. It is also important that you are service-oriented, flexible and understand how your efforts affect the quality of the facility's operations.
Competency requirements
You must be a nursing assistant and be able to provide proof of protected professional title
At least 1-3 years of work experience in healthcare and elderly care
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written.
Good knowledge regarding social documentation
It is meritorious if you have:
experience in caring for people with dementia.

You must be able to present an extract from both the criminal record register and the suspicion register if you are offered employment, as well as other relevant certificates.
