Are you a structured, service-oriented, and solution-focused nursing assistant who enjoys having a central role in operations? We are now looking for you to work with reception and administrative tasks in our department combined with patient-facing work. Work Tasks As a nursing assistant with reception responsibility, you have an important and central function in the operations. You are responsible for the reception's daily work and are often the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and collaboration partners. You contribute to creating good service and ensure that administrative processes and patient flows function smoothly. The position involves a combination of administrative, coordinating, and patient-facing work tasks. You work closely with the care team, staffing assistant, and management to contribute to a well-functioning operation and a good care experience for our patients. In the role you will, among other things: Be responsible for the reception's daily work and service. Coordinate care beds as well as planned admissions, discharges, and leaves. Handle incoming phone calls and distribute matters to the right function. Perform admissions and discharges in Cosmic and update the unit overview. Manage waiting lists and administrative tasks related to the operation. Be responsible for ordering materials and consumables. Support the introduction of new employees by ordering access rights, email accounts, and introductory materials. Provide break relief and support in patient-facing operations Collaborate with the staffing coordinator and deputy unit manager regarding daily planning/staffing About the Workplace Children's Ward 64 is a general pediatric care ward with an attached children's emergency clinic. The ward has 15 care beds and can be described as a "small hospital within a hospital" where we care for children and young people within several specialties. Here you will meet patients from pediatric medicine, orthopedics, surgery, and otolaryngology. The operation is characterized by great variety and includes both children with chronic diseases and patients with acute or temporary care needs. Good computer skills and experience of Cosmic or another medical records system is desirable. As a person you are service-oriented, responsible, and have professional conduct. You enjoy a coordinating role with many contact points and have the ability to work independently while valuing collaboration and team spirit. That teamwork functions is crucial for patient safety, which places demands on you having good collaboration skills. You need to be flexible and enjoy combining administrative work tasks with patient-facing work. A workday with us can change quickly and you need to be able to adjust in challenging situations and maintain your calm and focus. Since you in the role need to be able to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required. Other language skills are meriting. Employment Terms Permanent employment, full-time, start date by agreement. Working hours are daytime and work every fourth weekend.
