Our Operations At the Medical Imaging and Functional Medicine Center, approximately 200,000 examinations and treatments are performed annually using a wide range of modalities including MR, CT, conventional X-ray, intervention, ultrasound, SPECT, and PET. The Medical Imaging and Functional Medicine Center has approximately 350 employees and operates 24/7. We are in an extremely exciting period where radiological examinations are in constantly increasing demand, with highly skilled employees. We receive advanced cases within the Uppsala region and also receive inquiries from the rest of Sweden, as we have specialized expertise and provide highly specialized care with a focus on radiology. Your Assignment In this role, you combine your work as a nursing assistant with working at our X-ray cashier. You will perform typical nursing assistant tasks but also rotate into our cashier where you will receive and welcome our patients. Help patients with their questions. Handle payments and simple administration. You become an important part of our operations and our face to the public, and are responsible for creating a smooth flow in daily work. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and enjoys meeting people. You are a reliable and stable person who thrives working both independently and together in a varied environment with a high pace. You are comfortable switching between patient work, cashier, and administrative tasks. As a person, you are attentive, empathetic, and solution-oriented. You are a trained nursing assistant with healthcare experience and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We are a department that is open 24/7 and performs everything from emergency examinations to scheduled examinations and treatments. We would like to see that you have previous experience in radiology or healthcare work, but great importance will be placed on personal qualities. Working Hours The position involves work on day/evening/weekend shifts. You will receive an introduction period with training and shadowing to safely enter your new role in X-ray. Requirements: • Trained nursing assistant, proof of protected professional title must be included with the application. • Experience with Cosmic is a merit. • Experience from hospital care, preferably emergency care/X-ray. • Able to handle pulling and lifting heavy patients and moving patient beds longer distances.
