Ersta diakoni hemtjänst provides support and care to people who need help to continue living at home. We operate in Stockholm, Gävle, and Sundsvall.

About the role
As a nursing assistant in home care, you help our clients with what they need support with based on their individual care decisions.
This could include:
providing support with personal care
helping with shopping, meals, and cleaning
accompanying clients on walks, doctor's visits, or other activities
contributing to social community and a secure daily life.
The work is independent and varied. You meet people with different needs and must be able to adapt your support to the person and situation. As part of the work team, you also contribute to continuity for our clients, collaborate with your colleagues, and help develop the activities in our operations.

Your experience
To work with us, you need to:
be a trained nursing assistant
be able to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
be able to ride a bicycle.
It is a merit if you have:
experience working in home care or other elderly care
Other information about the recruitment
The position is a permanent employment on part-time or full-time basis. For evening shifts, work is scheduled for evenings/weekends. For day shifts, work is scheduled for days Monday to Friday or days/weekends.
Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Before employment, we will request extracts from the suspicion and conviction register.
We use a trial employment period.
