Working in a rural area means you get to develop and challenge your knowledge level under reasonably manageable conditions since you get to treat many different conditions. It can be described somewhat like detective work where you also get to provide final treatment for many more conditions than in the city.
With the help of E-health, we see great development opportunities in primary care and especially in rural areas. Right now we are working in the primary care field with several exciting and challenging projects to develop modern IT solutions that facilitate our work with patients.
Stugun Health Center is a well-functioning health center in miniature with a rural profile. We have permanent staff and work together as a team with a focus on solving problems efficiently. Doctors, midwives, district nurses/nurses and nursing assistants work here. We also have a psychosocial unit and physiotherapist.
Stugun is beautifully located by the Indalsälven river and features ski trails, a slalom slope, shops, café, running trails, preschool and primary, middle and high schools. The health center is located 50 km from Östersund and approximately 150 km from Sundsvall, with good connections in both directions. In the surrounding area there are many beautiful villages with good opportunities to both rent and buy homes at reasonable prices.
In the area there is also a slightly larger health center located in Hammarstrand. In Bispgården there is also a well-functioning district nurse clinic.

DUTIES
The main tasks are taking samples and assisting with specific medical examinations such as gynecological examinations, rectoscopy and other reception work. In addition, as a nursing assistant you have your own reception for tasks such as suture removal, blood draws, wound dressing changes and ear irrigation.
Home visits to patients who have difficulty getting to the health center may occur in the nursing assistant's work. Other tasks include, for example, responsibility for laundry and supplies as well as some administration.

Employment type: Fixed-term position.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
The substitute position is for 12 months with possibility of extension.
