The Surgery Centre in Umeå's primary goal and mission is to provide highly specialized and high-quality care and conduct research for patients in the northern healthcare region. The clinic is divided into sections for urology, breast, endocrine, vascular, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery, operating in both outpatient and inpatient care. Care at the Surgery Centre is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged and collaborate for the best outcomes. In collaboration with Umeå University, we also conduct successful research with both clinical and preclinical focus. We are now recruiting a junior doctor for a fixed-term position at the Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery section at the Surgery Centre in Umeå. This position is tailored for those seeking a fixed-term role in preparation for upcoming AT (general practice training). 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a junior doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that give people a sense of security. The position mainly involves work on the ward with ward rounds and handling of admissions and discharges. Some outpatient work may occur. If needed, you may serve at other sections within the clinic for shorter periods to ensure adequate staffing and maintain good care. QUALIFICATIONS You must have completed and been approved on term 9 of the medical program. We place great importance on personal qualities. You should be a confident and stable person with good self-awareness. You work well in collaboration and treat others in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Furthermore, we see that you have a strong ability to make sound judgments and prioritizations, where you can weigh complex information and demonstrate good judgment in your decisions and actions. We require good knowledge of Swedish language equivalent to level C1. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: According to agreement.
