We serve patients from our catchment area, which is as large as Switzerland, with just over 40,000 residents.
The Surgical Center in Lycksele is a consolidated unit encompassing everything from emergency reception to surgery and ward care. We have close collaboration with healthcare facilities inland. The center provides acute and planned surgery, orthopedics and urology, operating room care and anesthesia with associated postoperative care, and intensive care for adults. At our appropriately sized hospital, we collaborate across professions, have short decision-making paths, and quick solutions to problems that arise. There is also collaboration and coordination at the county level with other operations in the county.

WORK TASKS
As a junior doctor with us, you will gain knowledge and experience of working within surgical-orthopedic operations. We have extensive experience in mentoring and have a work approach that allows you to develop as a physician. With us, you have varied work that includes ward work, admission reception, and emergency department work. Joint shifts at the emergency department. We also collaborate across the county and constantly strive for development and improved methods.

QUALIFICATIONS
Swedish medical license is meritorious, but applicants after completing medical studies are also welcome. Experience working in surgery, orthopedics, or urology is meritorious.
