Maintenance Technician – Preventive Maintenance

Quant is now establishing a new organization for preventive maintenance and maintenance development at a leading manufacturing operation in the Örebro region. We are therefore seeking several Maintenance Technicians in Preventive Maintenance who want to be part of building work methods, routines, and strategies for the future of maintenance.
This is not a traditional maintenance technician role focused on emergency breakdowns. The role suits you if you are driven by preventing problems before they occur and want to contribute to increased operational reliability, quality, and technical availability.

About the Position
As a Maintenance Technician – Preventive Maintenance, you will become part of a dedicated team for preventive maintenance and maintenance development.
The team is led by a Manager of Maintenance Development and consists of maintenance engineers and maintenance technicians who together are responsible for developing and implementing the customer's preventive maintenance strategy.
The operations include, among other things:
CNC machining
Cutting operations
Hardening plants
Forging equipment
Automated production systems
You will work closely with both production, maintenance engineers, and the customer's technical organization.
Your Main Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance according to established maintenance plans
Perform inspections, checks, and condition assessments of equipment
Identify deviations and improvement opportunities
Participate in development and improvement of maintenance programs
Assist in root cause analysis and improvement work
Work with vibration measurement and other condition monitoring
Contribute to development of work instructions and standards
Document completed work in maintenance systems
Collaborate with production to ensure high technical availability
About You
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who enjoys working methodically and long-term.
You like to understand how equipment works, why faults occur, and how they can be prevented.

Experience in industrial maintenance
Experience in mechanical maintenance work
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
Good collaboration skills
A strong focus on safety
Meritorious Experience
CNC machines and cutting operations
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Vibration measurement
Condition-based maintenance (CBM)
Maintenance systems (CMMS)
Electrical and automation experience
Experience from the automotive industry
You communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
A B-class driver's license is required.
