For our operations at a customer in the manufacturing industry in the Örebro region, we are now seeking a Maintenance Planner.
About the Job
As a Maintenance Planner, you will become part of a new organization focused on preventive maintenance and maintenance development. You will have a central role in creating the conditions for well-planned, efficient, and proactive maintenance.
The role encompasses both planning and scheduling of maintenance work as well as analysis and follow-up of completed maintenance. An important part of the work is to continuously develop and optimize maintenance plans based on experience, history, and facility needs.
Examples of typical work tasks:
Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work
Ensure that work is clearly defined and has the right prerequisites regarding safety, resources, materials, spare parts, and technical information
Develop and quality assure work instructions and maintenance plans
Plan and coordinate maintenance with production and other maintenance functions
Follow up on completed maintenance work and analyze results and reporting
Analyze maintenance history and identify the need for changes in maintenance plans
Optimize maintenance measures and intervals based on history, failures, and experience from operations
Follow up on backlog, planning compliance, and other relevant key performance indicators
Ensure quality and structure in the maintenance system
Participate in improvement work together with maintenance engineers, technicians, and the customer's organization
The production environment includes, among other things, CNC machining, hardening facilities, forging equipment, and automated production systems.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in industrial maintenance and a good understanding of what is required to create an effective and well-functioning planned maintenance system.
You are structured and analytical and enjoy working with both technology and data. You are not satisfied with just completing a maintenance task – you also want to understand the result and how the work can be done better next time.
Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and work in maintenance systems (CMMS) is a merit. Experience with preventive maintenance, maintenance data analysis, spare parts management, or work within the manufacturing industry is also a plus.
As a person, you are self-directed, thorough, and driven. You have a natural ability to collaborate and communicate since the role involves close cooperation with maintenance technicians and engineers as well as production and the customer.
A strong focus on safety is essential.
