About the job As a maintenance mechanic, you plan and perform mechanical maintenance on production and operational equipment. Through a systematic approach, you identify and address causes of disruptions, drive improvements, and help reduce maintenance costs while increasing equipment availability. Work tasks Plan and perform preventive maintenance according to the organization's maintenance schedules. Carry out emergency maintenance based on operational needs and priorities. Identify root causes of disruptions and actively participate in improvement work. Suggest improvements to maintenance plans, work methods, and processes. Risk assess and coordinate maintenance work in accordance with applicable standards and safety regulations. Ensure maintenance information is up to date and that spare parts, materials, and resources are available for planned stoppages. Location The position is based in Västberga and work is performed on-site. Work is conducted during daytime hours with no on-call duties. Your profile You have relevant maintenance experience or education in mechanics, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related field. If you also have experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably in mechanics or automation, you'll be well-positioned to quickly get up to speed. Your background includes Technical interest and knowledge of mechanics. Experience with maintenance work or relevant technical education. Ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Experience collaborating with customers and suppliers. It's advantageous if you have knowledge of or interest in electronics, automation, SAP, IT, AI, control systems, or PLC. You thrive in collaboration and sharing knowledge while taking responsibility for your tasks. You work methodically, prioritize safety, and can handle both short-term needs and long-term improvements in parallel.
