You'll become part of the maintenance organization within Bravikens pulp mill and work together with colleagues who have diverse technical expertise. We collaborate closely, share knowledge, and help each other develop both the facility and our work methods. Your Next Challenge As a Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical, you'll have a varied role where you combine long-term development work with operational technical issues. Your mission is to develop maintenance practices and contribute to high availability and well-functioning process equipment within the pulp mill. You'll have the opportunity to delve into technical issues, identify improvement opportunities, and follow projects through from idea and investigation to implemented solution. One day you'll work on planning and technical investigations, the next day you might be out in the facility with colleagues solving a technical challenge. In this role, you will, among other things: develop and establish maintenance procedures and work methods. create, develop, and monitor maintenance plans. conduct technical investigations and translate results into concrete improvements. manage and execute maintenance projects and represent maintenance in larger projects. provide technical support in mechanics for other parts of the organization. You'll have many points of contact and collaborate with colleagues in production and maintenance, as well as suppliers and other specialists. Collaboration between Holmen's different units, both in and outside Sweden, may also occur. For You to Succeed in This Role We believe you thrive in a role where you take responsibility, structure your work, and drive matters forward together with others. You're interested in technology and mechanics and enjoy understanding how things work, identifying root causes of problems, and developing solutions that work long-term. Since the role involves many collaborations, it's also important that you communicate clearly and value building good relationships with people of different expertise. We're looking for someone who has: a university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical field, or equivalent knowledge through relevant professional experience. good knowledge of mechanics. strong ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel. a B-class driver's license. Experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or similar roles is a merit. For this position, we particularly value experience in tribology and hydraulics. We also view experience with projects, improvement work, commissioning, troubleshooting, and work in IFS or equivalent maintenance systems positively. Knowledge of Lean and 5S is also a merit.
