About the job As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll work to develop and strengthen our maintenance operations in production by creating structure in equipment data, spare parts management, technical documentation, and digital system support. Together with colleagues in various functions, you'll contribute to higher machine availability, more efficient work methods, and more data-driven maintenance. In your daily work, this means you'll: Manage and develop work methods in maintenance systems and related system support. Ensure quality and structure in equipment registers, object structures, spare parts data, and preventive maintenance. Analyze fault histories, operational disruptions, and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities. Support operations in system usage, technical documentation, and data management. Participate as an expert in projects and changes related to maintenance and technical system solutions. Collaborate with production, IT, automation, and other functions to develop and integrate various systems and processes. Location The position is based in Gimo and work is performed on-site. Your profile You have technical education in areas such as mechanical engineering, automation, maintenance technology, industrial economics, or equivalent field, or have acquired equivalent competence through work experience. Beyond technical knowledge, structure and communication skills are important as the role involves extensive contact with various colleagues across the organization. To have good prerequisites for succeeding in this job, you need: Experience with industrial maintenance in manufacturing operations. Experience with maintenance systems, such as CMMS or EAM solutions. Knowledge within spare parts management, equipment registers, or technical documentation. Experience with improvement work, standardization, and quality assurance. Good ability to communicate in Swedish and use English in technical contexts. You thrive in a role where structure, analysis, and collaboration go hand in hand. With a curious approach, you want to understand both equipment and processes in depth, while also creating order in data and documentation.
