Required Education: Complete secondary education with a maturita diploma in economics or higher education. Work Hours: Mon - Fri 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Employment is on a fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension to an indefinite-term contract. Job Responsibilities: ensure routine accounting operations; record received and issued invoices; record bank and cash transactions; review accounting documents for factual and formal accuracy; track liabilities and receivables; collaborate on monthly and annual financial closings; prepare supporting documents for tax returns; account reconciliations and other accounting controls; ensure archiving of accounting documents; monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations, etc. What We Require: knowledge of Czech accounting regulations; knowledge of tax matters corresponding to the job position; user-level proficiency with MS Excel and Word; diligence, reliability and independence; adherence to set deadlines; good analytical and organizational skills. Advantages: experience with complete bookkeeping; knowledge of VAT issues; knowledge of the JASU MÚZO accounting software system (we will provide training).
