We are now seeking two substitute benefits officers for the Elderly Unit in Nacka Municipality. Your Assignment
The Elderly Unit works to ensure that Nacka residents aged 65 and older receive the support they need to live an independent and secure life. We meet the future of elderly care with new thinking, collaboration, and a strong focus on individual needs. By leveraging the opportunities of welfare technology and experiences from recent years of development, we create sustainable solutions for the future.
The benefits officer team consists of two groups with approximately 16 employees in each team. The current team also includes residential coordination with responsibility for, among other things, placements in special housing, day activities, and short-term housing.
As a benefits officer, you will:
Receive applications, investigate needs, make decisions, and follow up on measures according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old.
Work based on Individual Needs at the Center (IBIC).
Independently make decisions about most measures through extensive delegation.
Provide information, support, and guidance to customers and relatives, and inform about choices within Nacka's customer choice system.
Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare providers, authorities, and other partners to ensure the best possible support for the individual.

We are seeking someone with:
Degree in Social Work.
Meritorious:
Experience working in a politically governed organization.
Experience as a benefits officer within elderly care.
Knowledge of and experience with the IBIC working method.
Experience with the Pulsen Combine business system.
Driver's license (category B).
