As a forklift operator for our client in Halmstad, you will be an important part of a productive team where safety, quality, and efficiency are prioritized. You will handle goods, load and unload vehicles, and perform internal material transports at the facility.
About the Position
In this role, you are responsible for safely and correctly moving materials between storage areas, production stations, and vehicles. You work closely with production and warehouse staff, report deviations, and ensure the workplace is well-organized. The work may involve lifting heavy loads, packaging, and basic documentation in internal systems.
Perform forklift operations (picking, internal deliveries, loading/unloading)
Ensure goods are correctly packaged and labeled
Follow workplace safety and environmental procedures
Report errors and deviations and participate in warehouse inventory counts as needed
Maintain the forklift fleet and tools and perform basic maintenance checks
About You
Formal Qualifications
You have completed forklift training (e.g., counterbalance or reach truck) and documented experience operating counterbalance forklifts. You are experienced working in digital systems for registration and reporting, and can read delivery notes and labels. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required to follow safety procedures and communicate with colleagues.
Meritorious Qualifications
It is advantageous to have experience with warehouse or production work, forklift certification for multiple truck types, experience with logistics processes, and experience working in teams at a fast pace. Driver's license category B is advantageous but not required.
