ROADS ENGINEER
(profession code 2164 03)
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance and updates of documentation related to municipality roads and streets in accordance with regulatory requirements;
• Conduct regular inspections of roads, streets, bike lanes, and their elements owned by the municipality, and organize their maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements;
• Represent the municipality's interests in cooperation with design professionals and construction contractors.
• Monitor the execution of services related to road construction and maintenance;
• Participate in planning of municipality road and street construction and reconstruction projects;
• Prepare and review technical specifications, road infrastructure design assignments, and expert opinions;
• Review and coordinate construction intentions and design projects in the Construction Information System;
• Plan necessary measures to ensure quality in municipality construction projects and construction sites;
• Develop documentation related to road and street infrastructure development and maintenance (traffic organization schemes, technical specifications, etc.);
• Prepare draft municipal council resolutions on matters related to Ropažu Municipality's road and street infrastructure;
• Cooperate with state institutions in road maintenance and management;
• Review and prepare responses to submissions from legal and natural persons on road infrastructure matters.
Requirements for Candidates:
• Higher professional education in the field (transport construction);
• Construction practice certificate in street, road, or bridge construction supervision will be considered an advantage;
• Work experience in road infrastructure construction, maintenance, and work with the BIS system;
• Knowledge of construction work technological processes;
• Work experience in reviewing submissions and preparing responses within the scope of the position's competence;
• In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory acts within the position's competence and practical application skills;
• Ability to formulate and solve problems of various types;
• Good computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD) and other office equipment;
• Advanced proficiency in the state language;
• Category B driver's license;
• Initiative, ability to independently organize your work and work in a team. Ability to work dynamically, make independent decisions, find and analyze necessary information.
