TRAINEE POSITION – ENVIRONMENTAL/MEASUREMENT CONSULTANT

As an environmental consultant at ILEMA, you will primarily work with measuring air emissions from various facilities. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
• Are independent, structured, service-minded, and have good collaboration skills.
• Have at least a science/technical high school education. Higher technical education in chemistry, environment, or energy is a plus.
• Are comfortable with frequent travel
• Have good computer skills
• Speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing to communicate and understand work descriptions
• Have good English skills, as some written instructions are in English
• Are physically fit, as the job involves heavy lifting and equipment assembly (sometimes high up in industrial buildings)
• Have a B driver's license

WORK TASKS
As an environmental consultant at ILEMA, you will perform a variety of tasks, including fieldwork, travel, customer contact, and report writing. Your main task is to measure air emissions from various types of facilities, such as industries, paper mills, crematories, and energy plants. These measurements are then compared with the specific conditions and permits of the facilities.
Examples of common emissions you will handle include dust, NOx, CO, SO2, dioxin, and metals. Our customers are geographically dispersed, which means the position requires frequent travel (on average 2-3 overnight stays per week), primarily within Sweden.
