Do you want to influence train traffic? As a Traffic Planner at Trafikverket, you help facilitate daily life for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to the infrastructure of the future. Duties As a traffic planner with us, you are responsible for planning and designing timetables for passenger trains, freight trains, and special transports on the railway. You review and manage planned track work in the facility to ensure it is done in a traffic-safe manner. In the role, you receive internal and external applications and based on these you conduct analyses and ensure that there is capacity on the railway. You conduct dialogue internally within Trafikverket and also have close collaboration with both railway companies and contractors. To help you, you have various system tools to create good conditions for achieving a market-based production plan that maintains high quality in terms of punctuality and traffic safety. We are looking for you who: have a university or college education of at least 180 hp (120 p) in urban planning or logistics with at least 1 year of continuous administrative work experience alternatively, you have another industry-specific education together with several years of relevant and current experience in railway, logistics administration, traffic planning, or similar work have good system understanding where you are used to simultaneously working in multiple systems, for example planning systems and case management systems have good experience of working according to current regulations and requirements in your work have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Other Information The work location for this position is Malmö. Web-based tests are used as part of the selection process. If you advance in the process, the tests will be sent out preliminarily on 9/21. Initial interviews will be held via Skype preliminarily during weeks 41-42. Travel occurs during basic training to Solna and Ängelholm distributed over 5 weeks.
