As a traffic controller, you will be an important part of our operations team, working closely with drivers, management, and other departments to ensure safe, secure, and punctual traffic. About the Role As a substitute traffic controller, you will cover for our regular traffic controllers as needed. You will work with daily operations and be responsible for ensuring that the business functions efficiently, safely, and with high quality. The work includes, among other things: Supervisor drivers in daily operations. Handle acute operational disruptions and solve problems that arise in traffic. Ensure adequate staffing and manage vacancies on short notice. Work with scheduling and review of time reports. Communicate with drivers and colleagues to ensure good information flow. Coordinate and monitor traffic operations to maintain high quality. Contribute to a good working environment and ongoing safety work. Provide professional service by handling inquiries and matters efficiently. No two days are the same. The role requires a high ability to quickly prioritize, make decisions, and stay calm when multiple things happen simultaneously. We Are Looking for You Who Have experience from transportation, service, logistics, or other operational activities where planning and quick decisions are a natural part of the work. Are solution-oriented and enjoy taking responsibility. Have a good ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Can prioritize correctly even when the pace is high. Are calm, structured, and action-oriented in stressful situations. Have good collaboration skills and professional demeanor. Have good computer skills and find it easy to learn new systems. Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Have leadership qualities and enjoy supporting and guiding others. Merits Experience from public transportation or the transport industry. Experience in work supervision or personnel planning. Experience in traffic control, logistics, or operational management. Category D driving license and YKB.
