About the position
This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent placement. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and our client has stated their intention to offer you employment with them in the long term. The company is a major player in logistics and land transport, with an extensive network of terminals, customers, and business partners. They handle both domestic and international flows and have a clear focus on quality, stable processes, and efficient information chains.
Responsibilities
As a transport coordinator, you are responsible for receiving, registering, and managing incoming transport bookings, usually via email. You enter the bookings into the system, select suitable transporters, and ensure that each individual transport runs as planned. The role involves continuous dialogue with both transporters and customers, and you act as the hub when deviations, delays, or changed circumstances occur.
You will work primarily with European road transport, but some flows also occur outside the EU, which involves basic customs handling. The transporters vary between assignments and have different working methods, which requires you to quickly understand structures and transport arrangements. You work closely with a small team and contribute to ensuring that everything functions well, both in the logistics flow and towards the customer.
• Receive and register transport bookings from customer
• Book and coordinate road transport within Europe
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with transporters and ensure agreed time windows are met
• Communicate with customer regarding status, deviations, and solutions
• Handle basic customs procedures for transports outside the EU
Education, experience, and personal qualities
• Experience from the transport or logistics industry, preferably with European road transport
• Good computer and system skills
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
