We are now looking for someone who is interested in gardening, a quick learner, and can put in hard work when needed. We perform most of our work in private gardens, so social skills and the ability to follow instructions are essential for customer satisfaction. Experience is a plus but not a requirement. We are happy to train from the ground up, provided the person we hire finds plants fun and interesting. A typical day includes: hedge trimming, grass cutting, pruning trees and shrubs, laying new lawns, weeding, planting, blowing, sweeping and tidying up. You should have good physical fitness, no fear of heights that would prevent you from pruning trees from a tall ladder, be able to work on your knees temporarily, and have the stamina to make it through the workday even when you might need to trim hedges all day. We work year-round and prune trees and restart hedges, etc. in the winter. So we are not looking for seasonal employment. Anyone interested is welcome to call us.
