Your Responsibilities As a drying technician, you play a key role in production and are responsible for ensuring that the drying process operates efficiently, safely, and with high quality. You monitor and analyze drying results, moisture content, and other parameters to ensure that the timber meets quality requirements. By identifying deviations and improvement opportunities, you contribute to stable and optimized production. In this role, you are responsible for creating, developing, and monitoring drying programs as well as planning the flow through the drying facility. You conduct daily inspections, manage maintenance tasks, and coordinate measures with the maintenance department when needed. As a central contact point in the drying process, you work closely with the department's forklift operators and flow coordinators, and support production with tasks such as forklift driving and other operational activities as needed. You also actively work on continuous improvements by driving smaller projects related to optimization and new construction, developing procedures, and contributing to increased quality, energy efficiency, and facility utilization. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys combining practical work with analysis and problem-solving. You are curious, proactive, and capable of working independently while also appreciating close collaboration with colleagues. It comes naturally to you to take responsibility, ask questions, and drive work forward when you see opportunities for improvement. You have good computer skills and feel comfortable working in different systems, preferably with Excel experience. Experience from process, production, or manufacturing industry is a merit, as are knowledge of mechanics, automation, or maintenance. If you have previously worked in a coordinating or supervisory role, we see that as an additional advantage. A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position, while a forklift license for counterbalance trucks is considered a merit. As a person, you are positive, attentive, and communicative. You have a natural ability to build good relationships and contribute to good cooperation in the group. The role requires that you are organized, solution-oriented, and have the ability to see the bigger picture in the business.
