We are now seeking a dedicated and responsible residential support worker at SIROB. The target group consists of adults with mental illness/functional disabilities who have difficulties managing daily life on their own and who need social support in their everyday lives. Comorbidity occurs, often in combination with substance abuse/dependency issues. The operations are pleasantly located a few kilometers outside the center of Kristinehamn. SIROB stands for "cooperation in resources and housing." The staff at SIROB work both in a supported residence and with residential support services for people in ordinary housing. Work tasks include educational support, conversations, sample collection, medication management, reporting, and documentation. The purpose of our operations is to provide support to clients so that they can increase their independence and improve their quality of life. WORK TASKS • Provide social and practical support in daily life. • Support clients in managing routines, social contacts, and activities. • Work based on the individual's needs with the goal of promoting independence and well-being. • Document according to the organization's guidelines and procedures. In our operations, your main task is to motivate and support people with mental disabilities and comorbidity in their daily lives. The job is social and varied, and you need to be flexible and solutions-oriented to succeed. You will have significant personal responsibility for the work being carried out, and you will work both independently and together with dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues. Together you contribute to quality of life for our clients and strengthen their ability to live an independent life. As a temporary worker with us, the work includes both overnight shifts as well as day/evening shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as an applicant who has: • Nursing assistant education with a focus on psychiatry or other education and experience deemed appropriate. • B-class driver's license • Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish • It is an advantage if you are familiar with documentation and implementation plans according to SoL. • Previous work experience with substance abuse issues, psychiatry, and/or comorbidity is advantageous. Personal Competencies: We are looking for someone who is stable and confident in yourself and who can maintain a professional approach even in challenging situations. You are flexible and have an easy time adapting to the individual's needs and changing circumstances, while working in a structured manner and having the ability to plan and prioritize your work tasks. You are self-driven and take responsibility for moving your work forward, while being proactive and seeing opportunities to support and strengthen the individual's independence and participation. Since the work occurs in close collaboration with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment. You have good verbal communication skills and express yourself clearly and respectfully in your interactions with others. Through your attentive approach and your ability to build trusting relationships, you contribute to providing professional and individualized support to people within social psychiatry.
