JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ungärde School needs more substitute teachers for our operations. Ungärde School currently has approximately 200 students and is located in Lima, 3 miles south of Sälenfjällen. Here you'll find school activities for grades F-9, adapted primary education, and after-school care.
If you are a trained teacher, curious about educational work, or want to work extra while pursuing your studies, this is an opportunity for you! We're looking for more engaged and flexible employees who can step in as substitute teachers with short notice when our regular staff are absent. Your contribution will be invaluable to our operations and help create a safe and inspiring environment for our students.
As a substitute teacher with us, you can work in the following areas:
Primary School
The school should provide children and students with knowledge for life and all students should receive the best possible conditions to reach the school's learning goals. At the school you will work either as a teacher substitute or as a support resource.
After-School Care
All children between 6 and 12 years old are offered places in after-school care, before and after the school day. After-school programs complement the school and should stimulate student development and learning, promote diverse relationships and social community, while also offering rest, play, movement, and creative work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good cooperation skills, responsibility, and empathetic interaction. In the role of substitute teacher, it's important that you are flexible and curious. It's important that you are attentive to children/students, parents, and coworkers. You will be offered meaningful and rewarding work and your contribution is important to us!
We would like to see that you have education or experience working with children and young people, but this is not a requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the position.
To work in schools and childcare, a valid criminal record clearance certificate is required. The police issue this and you can request it on the police's website. Choose a certificate that applies to schools or childcare.
Pay form: Hourly wage.
