We are building a shared substitute pool for Grenen, Upptäckarna, Franska förskolan, and Kaprifolen. As a substitute teacher, you will work as needed at one or more of these preschools. You will fill in for regular staff due to illness or time off and become an important part of the children's day. Work shifts vary and needs can sometimes arise on short notice.
Our four preschools are located in different parts of Göteborg and each has its own profile and approach: Grenen in Trädgårdsgärdet, Angered, Upptäckarna in Eriksbo, Franska förskolan in Landala, and Kaprifolen in Askim. Together, we want to give children a secure and developmentally enriching preschool experience.
Medborgarskolan is a values-driven organization with operations in education and adult learning, among other areas. In our preschools, we work from a relational perspective. We are mindful of how our interactions, environments, and methods affect children's sense of belonging, participation, and learning. We want each child to meet adults who are curious about the child's perspective and recognize the child's abilities.
Your Assignment
As a substitute teacher, you will become part of the team and help ensure the day runs smoothly for both children and colleagues. You participate in play, care, and activities, help with daily routines, and meet children with warmth and clarity.
We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and responsible. You work well in collaboration and can adapt when circumstances change. Experience from preschool or education in children and leisure is a merit. We also place great importance on personal suitability.
Employment
The position is hourly, as needed. Work shifts are offered based on the facilities' current needs and can be scheduled for different days and times. We will discuss your availability during an interview.
