About the Role
As an hourly substitute nursing assistant or care worker at Norlandia Elderly Care, you are an important part of the team supporting our residents. Working together with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, you help create A Good Life – Every Day.
We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in older adults who wants to make a difference in daily life. You support residents based on their individual needs, wishes, and circumstances, and contribute to creating a safe and meaningful existence.
Responsibilities
Your role includes, among other things:
Provide personal care and support while leveraging residents' own resources.
Work according to Norlandia's meal concept Tasty Meals to create positive food and dining experiences.
Document according to the Social Services Act (SoL), maintain social records, and establish and follow up on implementation plans.
Plan and carry out activities that promote quality of life, such as walks, outdoor time, cultural activities, entertainment, and social interaction.
Perform service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, accompanying residents, and shopping.
Carry out delegated tasks, such as medication management following delegation.
Actively contribute to the facility's quality and improvement work.

Timansstenar Elderly Residence is beautifully located in Ljungaviken with proximity to the sea and nature. Our modern elderly residence offers 60 apartments distributed across units specializing in both dementia and general medical care. Here you'll find several appreciated shared spaces, such as a sunroom, spa, and a large, lovely garden with a greenhouse that contributes to a pleasant and meaningful daily life for our residents.

Qualifications
If you are a trained nursing assistant, you must be able to provide proof from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) of your right to use the professional title nursing assistant.
Previous experience working in care and support is highly desirable.
You have strong documentation skills and follow the facility's routines well.
You have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You have good computer skills and feel comfortable with digital work tools.
It is desirable if you have knowledge of the national quality registers used in elderly care.

Additional Information
Employment Type: Hourly Substitute Position
Start Date: By agreement
To ensure the safety and security of our residents, a background check is conducted before employment. Employment is contingent on a clear criminal record check and verification against the suspicion register according to current procedures.
We apply individual salary setting and are covered by collective agreements. Interviews take place on a rolling basis, which means positions may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
If you are not a citizen of Sweden, another EU/EEA country, or Switzerland, you must be able to demonstrate that you have a valid work permit or are otherwise exempt from the requirement for a work permit. Employment can only take place after the work permit has been verified in accordance with applicable legislation.
